Privacy policy

1. What we collect

Account data: your email address and encrypted password.

Profile data: your name, age, gender, body measurements, style preferences, brands, occupation, and location city (used for weather-aware suggestions).

Wardrobe data: photos you upload, and AI-generated tags (category, colour, fabric, occasion, brand).

Wear history & memories: occasions you log, people you mention, and any memories you add through conversation.

Usage data: which features you use, when, and on what device — to improve the app.

Conversation data: messages you type or speak to the ClotheMeFor AI assistant.

Voice audio: audio recorded while you hold the microphone button (used for speech-to-text transcription only; not stored after transcription).

2. How we use your data

We use your data exclusively to:

• Provide and improve the ClotheMeFor service
• Generate personalised outfit suggestions via AI
• Transcribe and respond to voice messages
• Send transactional emails (account, receipts)
• Send optional marketing emails (you can opt out in Settings)

3. Third-party AI providers

ClotheMeFor uses third-party AI services. We obtain your explicit consent before sharing any data with them (see Section 9).

Purpose: Powers the AI stylist assistant, outfit generation, and wardrobe photo analysis.

Data shared: your profile (name, age, gender, measurements, style preferences, occupation), your full wardrobe catalogue, wear history, people and memories you have added, your location city (for weather), the text content of your chat messages, wardrobe photos (for tagging), and photos attached in chat (converted to a short text description — images are not stored after processing).

Data agreement: All AI processing is governed by data processing agreements with our providers. No provider uses your data to train its models.

Purpose: Powers voice input (speech-to-text) and voice output (text-to-speech) in the voice assistant.

Data shared: voice audio recordings captured while you hold the microphone button (for transcription); AI-generated text responses (converted to speech). Voice audio is not stored after transcription.

Data agreement: Processing is governed by our voice provider's Data Processing Agreement. Your data is not used to train models.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure (West EU — Ireland). Photos are kept in a private storage bucket accessible only to your account.

5. Sub-processors & data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with sub-processors necessary to run the service:

• Supabase — database and file storage (EU)
• Third-party AI providers — AI stylist assistant, wardrobe tagging, voice input/output (see Section 3)
• Apple / RevenueCat — payment and subscription processing
• wttr.in — anonymous weather API (only your location city string is sent; no user identifiers)

We never share data for advertising purposes.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of your data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability

7. Cookies & tracking

The ClotheMeFor app does not use advertising cookies or cross-app tracking. We use anonymised analytics (crash reports, feature usage counts) to improve stability and performance.

8. Children's privacy

ClotheMeFor is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16, and our sign-up flow requires users to confirm they are at least 16 before creating an account. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at hello@clothemefor.app and we will delete it promptly.

9. AI data consent & control

Before you can use the AI assistant or voice features, we ask for your explicit consent to share your data with our third-party AI service providers (as described in Section 3).

You can review your consent status, or revoke it at any time, in Settings → Your data & AI. If you revoke consent the AI assistant and voice features will be suspended until you re-consent. Revoking consent does not delete your existing wardrobe data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days in advance.
